Monday I had in-between-chemo blood work done. It turned out very well. White blood cells were almost in the normal range, and a couple of other counts that I can't remember were in the normal range. The oncololgist was pleased, and I think somewhat surprised since this is significantly better than the reports after my first round of chemo (which were considered very good). I'm not sure why the counts were so good, and it might mean I'll get a heavier dose of chemo next time. I know lots of people are praying for us, and we would be foolish to assume the lettuce juice alone is what's helping things to go so well.
My mouth is much better this time than last. I have a couple of tender spots, but nothing like before. After chemo-day passed, I haven't had any nausea at all. I have been a lot more tired than last time. We've sure appreciated all the help with things here at home.

Hey Amy & Jon, I was finally able to create my own Google/Blogger account. YES!! We haven't had internet service at home for quite a long time now, but since Carissa is home for this semester, attending Greenville Tech, we needed to have it for her. And of course, we can enjoy it too. I just spoke to Teresa tonight and she updated me a little about how you were feeling to date. I want you to know how much you are in my prayers. I love you Honey. I still remember those big eyes when you were just a little girl, and I was babysitting you. You were the cutest thing!!! Some things never change! :) My Small Group (Bible study group) asks about you each week, so I try to keep them informed, as they are real prayer warriors and are concerned for you. Take care and know I am praying for you and your family during this tough part of your journey. I LOVE YOU Amy!!!! (Jon and children too)
Love, Aunt Lydia
Hey Amy.... just letting you know that we are thinking of you. and praying for you, Jon, and all the kids aswell.... i hope they are all doing well in school and i'm sure they are trying to be a big help for mommy...... my whole office has been asking about you so every friday we check out your blog to see whats new.... Love,
Crystal (and Connie and Cynthia too)
Amy, we pray for you all the time at home and the church prays for you at every service. Jon, we also pray for you and the kids as we know that this has a big effect on your lives as well. I am sure that your daily living schedules and such have changed a great deal. Praise the Lord for His help and strength along the seemingly bleak and treacherous roads we are sometimes asked to journey upon. We know that our God "...will give His angels charge over us to keep us in all our ways" and that ..."the angel of the LORD encampeth round about those that fear Him,and DELIVERETH them!" We put our trust and confidence in Him and wait to see what He will do. All our love, Jessica (for the Jones clan)
So grateful and filled with awe at the great report. God is so gracious to us underserving sinful creatures. Thank you for your wonderful testimony. Love and pray for you regularly.

We are thrilled to hear of the good reports this week. Our family is praying for you daily and learning so much about our God by watching you in this trial. We love you and are praying for each of you!
