Home Again, Home Again, Jiggity Jig

Quick update to let everyone know Gilead is home! He was released yesterday a little after noon. The doctors and nurses commented that they were surprised that he was able to go home so soon. I'm very thankful that we won't need to juggle the NICU and chemotherapy. The kids love him, and everyone is so thrilled to have another baby in our house.

Praise the Lord! I am so happy for you, Amy! We will continue praying for you, especially on Thursday and the weeks to follow. Our church is praying for you constantly as well. They are always asking me for updates on you and your family. Especially a sweet elderly lady in our church named Polly. She asked me about you on Sunday and told me she prays for you every single day. She is true pray warrior too! So we here in New Brunswick, Canada, are bringing you before the Lord every day! Gilead sure is a sweet little boy. By the way, I love the name. Truly a testimony to God's grace and care for His children!

I am very thankful that Gilead is home safely. After my hysterectomy I kept thinking about all the nieces, sisters, sisters-in-law, etc., who had to have c-sections, and wondering how on earth they could take care of a baby while trying to heal from the surgery. I know you still have a lot of healing to do, and am praying for you as you go through the healing process, and start the chemo again. I love you Amy! You all are in my prayers. Aunt Sarah

Amy, I love the pics of Gilead (the ones they put on the family blog, too)! They are so sweet. We love you guys and pray for you regularly as do our church people. One of the ladies asked me about you on Sunday. She had missed the Wed. night prayer meeting and said that she figured we had given an update but that she missed it and wanted to inquire about you. They really do pray for you and ask about you all the time. I am so glad that you are both home and doing so well. We will continue to pray for your recovery, your upcoming chemo and Gilead's health and growth. Give hugs and kisses to all the little ones from us all. Love, Jess

Don't know you, but love the Farmer family. Any prayer concern of theirs is ours as well. May God grant his abundant grace as you continue the treatment process for cancer and rear seven beautiful children for HIM!!

I am so thrilled. I have been praying. That wasn't too bad a hospital stay for a early baby.
