The appointment today at the OB's was routine, and everything still appears to be fine with the little guy. Our OB is helping to schedule gene testing, so we'll know if I have a mutation of a gene that can cause breast cancer. If I do, we will be considering what to do about a significant increase in my risk for ovarian cancer as well. That testing will happen sometime before the baby is born.

Several people have asked about how my mouth is doing with this second round of chemo. I'm not yet to the point when I broke out during the last round, so I don't really know.

Thanks to all of you who keep in touch with me through this blog, facebook and notes. You are an encouragement. Jon and I feel like we've entered the drudgery stage of all this. The treatment appears to stretch out for such a long time ahead of us. I counted weeks on the calendar yesterday, and it looks like I won't be done with everything (chemo and radiation) until sometime in September.

Hey! I talked with Teresa the other day and was telling her how much I and my church are praying for you. And your attitude is something to be admired and an example to us all - and I know it comes from the peace the Lord gives you. Please know that My husband and I think of you often and are constantly praying for the Lord to give you and your family strength!

Glad all is well so far. Have been praying for you! Yesterday afternoon the Lord prompted me to pray especially. I am comforted for you that our Lord has promised to never leave you nor forsake you, so I know He is with you in all this.

We continue to pray for you and the entire family! You are on our prayer list at our church and school...since Christan Reynolds teaches here as well...she often gives updates even before we do, so you are prayed for often!

Amy we are praying for you and all in your family regularly in the England household. Caylah so wishes she could be there to support Kara too. Hopefully with your wonderful support network and the Lord's grace the months will gently slide by until September finds you well again.

Amy,
Praying for you, Jon, and each of your precious children. People at my church ask about you regularly. It awes me that they care and remember. Wanted you to know. Uncle Jim and his mama ask about you often, also. Love you, honey.

Hey, friends! Just a quick note to let you know we are still praying faithfully. Today is Rachel's 13th birthday. You know what a miracle she is. The same God who made her is in control of you and your little unborn one. He will bless you for your faithfulness to Him. Love to all of you, Mike and Stephanie
