Website and fund raising...

This is Amy's sister in law, Amy C Bixby :) As we share names, I have given myself permission to "highjack" Amy's blog just long enough to share with you, who are following this blog and offering prayer support to Amy, the new tools that are available for staying updated and knowing how you can help.

Amy's friends and family members have started a fundraiser to help meet the staggering financial needs that Jon and Amy are facing. We have also started a website which we will update with specific prayer needs (as seen by those of us looking on) and other bits of news.

Please click HERE to be directed to the website.

Thank you to all of you for your overwhelming support and generosity.

Amy Christine,

I did not know at first that your middle initial was "C" also. :) This can be very confusing and I know confusion is not anyone's desire. So-ooooo, would you mind very much just adding the middle name please -- Amy Caldwell Bixby or Amy Christine Bixby? It would be so helpful to many and we thank you in advance.

Thank you so much for all the Bixby's are doing to help out our Amy. It is astounding to see the outpouring of caring for her, Jon & the children. Words cannot express how we would value prayer for the Caldwell & Young families, too, during this difficult time.

With Gratefulness,
Rachel Young Morgan
(Amy Caldwell Bixby's aunt)

Rachel,
The last thing that I want is to cause confusion. To the scores of people who do not know Amy, but are praying for her the "Caldwell vs Christine" will not clarify, as they simply know they are praying for Amy Bixby. I have done all that I could to clarify when it is me, by changing my profiles in all my online accounts to Amy Bixby- sister in law. I don't really know what more I can do. If you see Amy C Bixby, and either the post or signature do no clarify that it is the sister in law, then it is "Amy Caldwell Bixby."

We received news about Amy through an email from Jarrod and Dana Gunderson. My heart broke and I just cried. I am praying for you and your family. Not only me! I have my MOPS (Mother's of Preschoolers) group praying for you too!

So many prayers and blessing to you!

With the love of Jesus,

I found your story through a post on Facebook. I'm so sorry to hear this. I just wanted to let you know, if you're looking for alternative treatments, I've talked to a few cancer survivors who've used a certain product to help keep their body the least acidic as possibel (because they say cancer can only live in an acidic environment...or is it the other way around??) Anyway, if you'd like, I could connect you to them via phone and help give you some info on what they did. Their cancer hasn't returned.

Regardless, I wish you all the best! If you wanna contact me, you can email me at susansene@gmail.com.

Dear Bixby Family,
I did not know Amy personally but I have followed her blog. She has been an inspiration. As I am around Christians who have been diagnosed with cancer I point them to her pages. It is comforting and helps them know how to face there trials. I hope you keep her pages up so others can draw from them. My prayers are with the family, may God Bless you richly. Love in Christ,
