We Got It

Nathan came home from school on Wednesday not feeling well. Sore throat, fever, nausea... You moms know what those symptoms usually mean. We were able to get into an office that evening for a strep test, and it was positive. I'm glad I've had enough experience with strep to recognize it quickly. The oncologist put our whole family on antibiotics. So far we're doing well. I'll be doing a general disinfecting of the house. We have had two or three consecutive rounds of strep during the last two spring seasons, but sure hope to avoid anymore of it this year.

I'm so sorry. I hope it doesn't get passed around and that he will get over it quickly. Still praying for you guys. Love, Jess

We will also pray that it doesn't spread. Give him our sympathies.

I am so sorry to hear that. Caitlin has had quite a time with strepp in the past, but so far, much to her disappointment, she has not had it this year. Christopher does not usually get it. Caitlin loves to get it because it means she gets to stay out of school. I have prayed for you in regard to this, and will continue to do so. I love you all. Aunt Sarah

Ugh...Hope gets either strep or a throat infection at least 4-6 times a year. Our doc is finally going to have her tonsils removed April 7.

Glad you are all on antibiotics and I hope you all stay healthy! Praying for you!

I just prayed for extra strength and healing for you and the family during this additional challenge of strep.
Love you,

Hi, Amy!
I'll be praying specifically for protection for you all. My daughter Anna had type B influenza for 4 days before we knew it, but the Lord's protection was over us all and no one got it! I trust He will do the same for you! Enjoy Teresa!! I'm praying as she travels tomorrow! Rest and let her take care of you! Chemo. #4 for me tomorrow. I've got a surgery date now and am looking forward to seeing if this chemo. has been effective. Has your oncologist told you what chemo. meds. you'll take when you start back? How long and often?
Love and prayers! Shannon G.
